Yorkshire Dialect Club 5
A newly formed get together is happening at Honley Library (between Huddersfield and Holmfirth)
The first one has been a great success, so don’t miss out on the series.
There are a few fowk as wanted a place and a space where we can meet up and/in dialect and learn a bit or two together. Ian Brooke isa born n’ bred Honley lad and speaks, writes in dialect – so we’ll be there as YDS members to offer cuppas and chat in and abaht our dialect.
However you speak or ‘think’ …. “if yer interested in talking abaht, learnin’ abaht n’ writin’ abaht Yorkshire accents an’ dialects” … we’d love it if you join us!
No need to come to each date if you can’t commit to that. Just trundle along as and when you can 🙂
