Dialect on BBC Woman’s Hour

Today (7th August 2026) Yorkshire Dialect had another mention, this time within the BBC ‘Womens Hour Programme, when Council Member Christina Longden prompted an item about accent and dialect. She was joined by Diana Rackham, of the ‘Friends of Norfolk Dialect’ society, and Prof. Rob Drummond from Manchester Metropolitan University, whose book ‘You’re All Talk’ is required reading for anyone looking into Accent Bias.
