“Words Matter” podcast by YDS

The Bloomsbury Institute podcast ‘Words Matter’ for May 13th featured a discussion about accents and dialects, Led by Irene Lofthouse, it featured our own Rod Dimbleby and Richard Wilson in a 40 minute chat about dialects.
The Northumbrian Language Society’s John Davidson was billed to appear to give the view from the far North, but as he unfortunately dropped out at the last minute Richard made a sad fist of trying to sound Northumbrian, though a true Northumbrian burr always escapes him.
