The Yorkshire Dictionary of Dialect, Tradition and Folklore by Arnold Kellett

Often regarded as the standard contemporary dictionary of Yorkshire Dialect, this book, compiled by Arnold Kellett and first published in 1994, has gone through several editions.

it provides a readable and simple dictionary of words and their meanings over 220 pages.  An introduction by the author gives much useful background to the derivation of words, together with a guide to pronunciation and spelling.
